Hi! I'm Denise, and these are my three children surrounding me. After 10 years of teaching science in a New York City public school I took a break from teaching, (or at least that's what I thought, I was doing), to raise my children. The experience of watching them learn and take in information as infants, then toddlers and eventually as elementary students has shaped my view of how children learn best. As a result, I developed this inquiry-based, holistic approach to teaching science. I hope you will join us on this journey of creativity and discovery.
