Super Mario Galaxy Party

Celebrate the release of the Super Mario Galaxy movie with some hands on fun, Mario Projects to build and take home as well as Mario games and galaxy slime.

After sharing the story, “How to Catch a Leprechaun,” by Adam Wallace, we’ll design and decorate our own leprechaun traps complete with a pot of gold to lure him.

Celebrate Pi Day and St. Patrick’s day by sharing a piece of pie and designing and building your very own leprechaun trap.

Mario and Luigi challenge you to a race, make a balloon car and race it down our rainbow bridge. Enjoy party games and sock skating for a fun filled day of adventure.
Tuesday Feb. 17th
Design your own spin bot.
Using magnets, a tin can and maker space supplies you can design and build your own robot. Then we’ll add a motor to make it spin. Add markers to make it doodle. Then enjoy a game of sock hockey or the floor is lava and participate in some science magic.

Listen to the story of the great race and learn about the animals in the chinese zodiac. Design your own cardboard box lion and march in our lion dance parade.

Star Wars Stem

In preparation for Star Wars Day on May 4th, we’ll design our own wobbling baby yoda and make a light up light saber to take home.

School’s out and we’re open for all things solar, we’ll make a solar powered motor, paint a picture with sunlight and create a portrait of the sun marking all of its unique patterns.
